Freshmen Class
Saw this family of Canadian Geese on my way home and returned to take their portrait. Initially they were apprehensive when I set up my tripod and camera across the pond -- the goslings hunkered down and the adults stopped eating and held their necks high, but after 10 minutes of moving very slowly they went back to their business and let me approach to 20 feet or so.
